A Haunting History of Ijams Hike

Geared Toward: Adults and Families with Children aged 10+

Description: Ijams Nature Center isn't just beautiful trials, fun recreation, and box turtles. Peel back a layer or two and you will find a history that is at times mysterious, dangerous, and sinister. What lies at the bottom of the quarry lake, what tales are hidden in the Tharp Trace Graveyard, and what new stories will be written this evening? Join us for this spooky (not too scary) walk.

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear closed-toe shoes that are okay getting muddy, water, weather appropriate clothing, and a flashlight.

Information to Note: This is an evening walk and participants will cover between 1 and 2 miles.

No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable
