2022 Ijams River Rescue: 3rd Creek at UTK

Let's make the Greater Knoxville Area a cleaner, healthier, more beautiful place! Volunteer for the 2022 Ijams River Rescue presented by TVA, an annual communitywide event when 400-1,000 volunteers will spend a few hours removing trash from the Tennessee River and its tributaries. Volunteer by yourself or with your family, friends, corporate team, scout troop or church group! Bags and gloves are provided, and each location has site captains to assist volunteers.

3rd Creek at UTK

• Meet at 10 am at Jacobs Drive, parking lot C-4.

• The site is suitable for young children.

• This site focuses on land, shoreline, and water. Volunteers may have the opportunity to wade in the water. If you have waders or tall rain boots, bring them. Volunteers may also have the opportunity to clean up on boats. Kayaks will be provided at this site.
