Spring Break Camp
It's always a bit tricky to plan for spring break. This school holiday typically falls during warm months, but the weather sometimes feels like winter! Ijams has the perfect solution for kids ages 7-12!
2024 Spring Break Camp
Give your camper age 7-12 the ultimate spring break experience March 11-15 and open their eyes to the beauty and wonder of the changing seasons! Spring break campers will search for early signs of spring and celebrate the end of winter by learning basic winter survival skills and winter ecology, with an emphasis on how plants, birds, and other animals use their unique adaptations and keen survival skills to endure the harsh conditions of winter months.
As a bonus in 2024, campers will enjoy a three-hour session at Navitat, a treetop adventure park, experiencing a variety of challenge elements in the canopy of Ijams’ forest. And, of course, spring break campers also will engage in many of the same activities* from Ijams Nature Adventure Camps, including:

Navitat high ropes course with ziplines

Pond/creek exploration

Insect collection

Birdwatching (with an emphasis on spring migration)

* NOTE: Although Ijams staff try to include all of the above activities in camp, there will be some variation based on weather and other factors.
AGE AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Ijams Spring Break Camp is open to children ages 7-12. While Ijams makes every attempt to group campers of similar ages, staff cannot guarantee that this will be the case. Depending on enrollment, the staff may choose to mix age groups in order to build community and encourage mentorship among campers. Camper groupings are always at the discretion of Ijams staff. CAMP HOURS AND RATES
Regular hours for Ijams Spring Break Camp are Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15, 2024, 9 am-3 pm each day.
The cost for this program is $335. Ijams members (Family level or higher) receive a 5% discount on all camp sessions and session options.

NOTE: Lunch is NOT provided by Ijams. All participants must bring a lunch and two snacks to camp each day.
Ijams also offers After Care sessions for Spring Break Camp.

After Care sessions are available daily from 3-5 pm. The fee for After Care is $150 per person for the week, or $35 for one day.

After Care sessions include both structured and self-guided activities.
NOTE: You are welcome to sign up for After Care in advance or let the staff know during drop-off that you need it.

Ijams Member Discount: Current Ijams members receive a 5% discount per individual registration for all camp sessions and session options, including After Care. To take advantage of this discount, use coupon code Member at checkout during online registration. Membership must be at the Family level or higher and be current at the time of camp to take advantage of this discount (NOTE: If your membership is not current and you use this code, you will be billed to update your membership accordingly). Members are not eligible for two consecutive summers' worth of discounts for one annual membership (e.g., 2022 Nature Adventure Camp and 2023 Nature Adventure Camp).
