About the Event

Ever wonder what happens when a baby bird falls out of its nest or a turtle gets hurt crossing the road? Local wildlife rehabbers jump into action to help! These everyday heroes care for injured, orphaned, and lost animals all across East Tennessee—and now’s your chance to meet them!

Join us for a special Ijams Take Action! event on Saturday, May 10, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on the Ijams plaza. Families can drop in anytime to chat with real wildlife rehabilitators, hear their stories, and get an up-close look at some amazing animal ambassadors—feathery friends, fuzzy faces, maybe even a few with scales!

This event is free, fun, and open to all ages—no registration needed. Just swing by, explore, and discover how you can help protect our wild neighbors! Take action!
