About the Play

Perhaps Shakespeare’s most famous play, Macbeth is a time honored tale of murder and treachery, black magic and blacker hearts. With a fantastic array of ghosts and witches, warfare and intrigue, magic and murder, this story of a man who would be king never loses its power to thrill and shock, with its action and intrigue or to glorify and enthrall with its poetry and language, “Life’s but a walking shadow…”

Performances and Showtimes 

Macbeth runs three weekends only starting on October 1st, Thursday-Sunday, starting at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Concessions and beer will be available for purchase. Performances are on the Ijams' Visitor Center Lawn.

Admission is $15 for guests 13 years and older, admission for guests 12 and younger is free through the Penny 4 the Arts program. Free tickets must be included in your reservation. Donations to Tennessee Stage Company and…
