About the Event

**(NOTE: We are limiting this to 10 participants. If you are not registered and we are over the limit of participants, we will ask you to come another time or give you a different assignment)

Volunteers will head out to Ijams' newest property, The Grayson Subaru Preserve, to hand pull some small patches of privet, collect invasive brush, and put them into brush fences. Long sleeve shirts, closed-toed shoes, and pants are recommended to protect from thorns and poison ivy. Bring water!

Please bring the following: water, appropriate clothing/footwear, and a mask if you have one (Ijams Visitor Center has simple disposable masks if you come without one). Masks will only be necessary when we are within six feet of each other. If you are exhibiting any sign of fever or illness, do not participate in this workday. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Meeting Spot: Mead's Quarry Parking Lot: 3518 Island Home Ave. Knoxville, TN 37920
