Public Workday at Grayson Subaru Preserve (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

**NOTE: This session is limited to 15 participants. If you are not registered and there are 15 participants, you will be asked to come another time or will be given a different assignment.

Volunteers will meet at Mead's Quarry Adventure Camp and then walk over to Grayson Subaru Preserve to remove non-native, woody invasive plants on the property. Long-sleeved shirts and pants are recommended to protect from thorns and poison ivy. Bring water! 

Please bring the following: water and appropriate clothing/footwear. If you are exhibiting any sign of fever or illness, do not participate in this workday. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Those who are under 16 years old cannot volunteer by themselves at Ijams; they must be accompanied by an adult for all volunteer opportunities.

Those who are 16 & 17 can participate in public volunteer workdays as long as they have a parent's or guardian's permission. Please email chassil@ijams.org for the permission sheet. Thank you!
