About the Event
Geared Toward: Families with kids ages 6+
Description: This 2.5-hour introduction to bouldering is the perfect way to learn the basic skills and techniques of climbing, while staying close to the ground. During this program, participants learn proper spotting techniques and are introduced to the few basic pieces of protective gear required, so that participants leave feeling confident and prepared to venture out on their own!
Materials Participants Should Bring: Climbing shoes (if you have them). Otherwise, closed-toe shoes with durable rubber soles, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and water with a hands-free way to carry it.
No walk-in’s will be accepted.
Every participant must have a ticket.
Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to severe weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
