Ijams Offline Learning: Sense of Wonder

Geared Toward: Ages 4-7 and their caregivers

Description: Ijams Offline Learning brings online standards-based lessons to life through guided experiences in one of the safest classrooms around--the great outdoors! During this program, participants reconnect with ALL of the senses including touch, smell, and taste. Our senses are what guide us through the world. However, sometimes a few senses get overused, and this is especially common right now when looking at a screen and listening all day is the norm. Spend an afternoon allowing all 5 senses guide you through the natural world, and be amazed by what you learn.

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear comfortable shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring sunscreen, water, hats, sunglasses, and a hands-free way to carry these items.

No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
