Ijams Offline Learning: Intro to Bouldering

Geared Toward: Ages 6+ and their caregivers

Description: Ijams Offline Learning brings online standards-based lessons to life through guided experiences in one of the safest classrooms around--the great outdoors! During 2.5-hour introduction to bouldering, participants learn the basic skills and techniques of climbing while staying close to the ground. Participants will learn proper spotting techniques and will be introduced to basic pieces of protective gear required so that they leave feeling confident and prepared to venture out on their own!

Materials Participants Should Bring: Climbing shoes (if you have them). Otherwise, closed-toe shoes with durable rubber soles, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water, and a hands-free way to carry these items.

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
