Ijams Fall Homeschool Ed-Ventures (5)

For Ages 3-12

Description: Nature Ed-Ventures inspire homeschool students to learn biology concepts by experiencing the real thing. Each age group is mentored by an Ijams education team member to foster a natural curiosity and wonder through authentic investigation, participation, and engagement with the natural world. This season all age groups are exploring movement and migration through the natural world. Registration Closes on September 13th, so act fast to be a part of this 8 week experience. 

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should arrive with weather appropriate clothing, closed-toed shoes, water, snack, and a handsfree way to carry everything.

Information to Note: Ijams Homeschool Ed-ventures is an 8 week course that meets every Wednesday with the exception of October 13 for fall break. You must register for all 8 weeks through Active Network. Please read all age requirements on ijams.org carefully before registering. Location: Every class meets at the Outdoor Pavilion on the Ijams Nature Center Main Plaza, and heads out to the trails from there. 

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
