About the Event
Spring is in the air...and so are the melodic jazz tunes that paint beautiful images of springtime. Songwriters have always been inspired by bees, birds, and the flowers of spring.
Join gardening enthusiast Kelle Jolly for an Ijams Creative Series workshop and follow her step-by-step to create gorgeous indoor and outdoor potted-plant arrangements inspired by the jazz lyrics of artists such as Duke Ellington, Mary Lou Williams, and Thelonius Monk. This is a Zoom workshop; participants will receive a plant list closer to the event date. (Plants are not provided as part of this workshop.)
Kelle started her journey growing begonia and marigolds. She now has hundreds of indoor and outdoor plants. Kelle manages the Chilhowee Park Neighborhood garden and is a member of the National Women in Agriculture Association. Her motto is "Grow Hope."
