Beginning to Bird - Global Big Day

Join an Ijams Nature Center for birding's biggest day of the year! With an Ijams naturalist, you’ll learn how to bird during an approachable, fun-filled morning hiking on the trails, identifying a myriad of bird species by sight and sound. This program is great for complete beginners and bird enthusiasts alike!

Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+

Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 2.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
