2023 Ijams River Rescue: 1st Creek at Fountain City Skate Park - SOLD OUT

Let's make the Greater Knoxville Area a cleaner, healthier, more beautiful place! Volunteer for the 2023 Ijams River Rescue, an annual communitywide event when 400-1,000 volunteers will spend a few hours removing trash from the Tennessee River and its tributaries. Volunteer by yourself or with your family, friends, corporate team, scout troop, or church group! Bags and gloves are provided, and each location has site captains to assist volunteers.

1st Creek at Fountain City Skate Park

• Meet at 10 am at Fountain City Skate Park.

• The site is suitable for young children.

• This site focuses on land/shoreline. Volunteers may have the opportunity to wade in the water. If you have waders or tall rain boots, bring them.
