About the Event
Ijams Nature Center is delighted to present a FREE concert by Knoxville Opera featuring a wonderful lineup of popular selections from Broadway, movies, operetta, and of course, opera! Knoxville Opera Artistic Director Brian Salesky will host the performance and accompany soprano Jacquie Brecheen and tenor Wayd Odle in more than a dozen of your favorites!
Attendance is first-come, first-served and will be limited to 100 physically distanced guests on the Visitor Center lawn. Attendees MUST reserve a ticket to attend. PLEASE NOTE: If you reserve a ticket and can't attend, PLEASE email sbrobst@ijams.org to release your ticket to the next person on the wait list.
Admission is free, but donations are encouraged!
Guests are welcome to bring lawnchairs or a blanket. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase in the Ijams Visitor Center. In the event of rain at performance time, the event may be postponed to a later date. For more information, please email sbrobst@ijams.org.
