Birthday Parties

With 155 acres of walking trails, ponds and fields Ijams Nature Center is an environment that lends itself naturally to birthday parties. When you arrange to have your child's Birthday Party at Ijams you can choose from the Birthday Party themes listed below. During the party your child will get to meet some of our non-releasable animals and go on a nature walk, and participate in a theme related activity like dipnetting in the pond, a treasure hunt, or sweep netting in the field. If your child enjoys nature and being outside, an Ijams party is a perfect way to celebrate his or her birthday. A Birthday Party can be arranged for up to 20 young partygoers and their parents. The party includes room rental, set up and clean up, an educational program, nature walk and we also provide plates, cups, bowls, tablecloths, silverware and napkins. We have 2 hour and 3 hour birthday parties available. 2 hour birthdays are suggested for kids 5 years and younger.
