Ijams Summer Camp

Campers

For 26 years Ijams has provided day camp experiences that nurture children's interest in nature. Ijams Nature Day Cap promotes environmental responsibility and increases self confidence through discover, science, fun, and friendships. The positive impact Ijams has on campers is evident as campers return year after year to learn more about their favorite plants an animals, see old friends, and have fun in the summer sun. Some campers even come back as volunteers and counselors. Ijams Nature Day Camp staff is dedicated to providing a quality experience for every camper by following American Camping Association standards.

Spring Awakening Day Camp

Monday, March 19th - Friday, March 23rd

Join us this spring break for our Day Camp. Come all day or all week. Campers will have the opportunity to discover more about nature through hands-on activities, hikes, crafts and live animal programs. Each day will feature a different topic.


Monday: Flowers and Buds

Tuesday: Amphibians and Reptiles

Wednesday: Spiders and Insects

Thursday: Mammals and Birds

Friday: Water, Water

Campers can register for the whole week or individual days. The fee for the whole week is $175 for Ijams members and $200 for nonmembers. The daily rate is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Camp hours are 9 - 4 each day, with extended care available at a rate of $10 per hour.
