Spring and Fall Native Plant Sales

Held in April and October every year, Ijams Nature Center's Plant Sales help sustain East Tennessee's natural beauty by encouraging the use of native species in our own backyards; native species require less maintenance and provide shelter and food for our native creatures. See below for a schedule of this year's Plant Sales.

27th Annual Fall Plant Sale and Garden Festival

The Fall Plant Sale and Garden Festival features regional nurseries specializing in native species along with craft booths, gardening workshops, kids' activities, live music, food and more. Proceeds benefit Ijams Nature Center's education programs.

10th Annual Spring Plant Sale
Saturday, April 28, 2012 - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Spring Plant Sale features eight local nurseries selling wildflowers, shrubs and trees. Garden flowers, vegetables, outdoor crafts, pottery, birdhouses, metal works and decorations will also be available. Proceeds benefit Ijams Nature Center's natural areas and trails.

Free Wildlife Walks: Throughout the day we'll be conducting free wildlife walks on the trails at Ijams.
